Penn GIP in Portugal LogoThe Internship: Students applying to Penn GIP in Portugal will have the opportunity to interview for internships in a variety of fields in Lisbon, Portugal and Porto, Portugal.

Number of Spots Available: 10 in total (5 in Lisbon and 5 in Porto)

Duration: 8 weeks

Important Dates: Students must arrive to their city in Portugal by Saturday, May 19, 2018.  Internships will begin the week of Monday, May 21, 2018.

The Location: Students applying to Penn GIP in Portugal will have the option to work in either Lisbon or Porto.  Lisbon is the capital of Portugal and Europe's second-oldest capital.  Though it is one of the most affordable cities in Europe, there is still plenty to see and do.  With hills, beaches, and World Heritage sites, there is something for everyone in this friendly and safe city.  Porto, known for its export of Port wine, is considered "traditionally Portuguese."  With great seafood, tiled buildings on cobbled streets, and its extremely walkable nature, Porto will allow you to live a typical Portuguese lifestyle, while still finding something new to do everyday.
