Lodging: The hostel fee will be paid by Penn and added to the student’s Penn bill at a later date (typically October). Meals: The cost of the meals is based on the cost of food on-campus. Students should budget more if they plan on eating off-campus frequently. Students who are assigned to the Morningside College, S.H. Ho College, C.W. Chu College hostels are required to join a meal plan (ranging in cost from $170 USD - $260 USD, in addition to meal estimate above) and attend a certain number of communal dinners every week.

Personal expenses: Includes local transportation, entertainment and shopping at a reasonable level. It does not include travel outside of Hong Kong.

Roundtrip Flight from Gateway City: The flight expense listed above is the estimated cost of a round trip ticket from the gateway city of New York to Hong Kong.  However, you may depart from the city of your choice.
***Students living outside the gateway city may need to arrange for a connecting flight to a gateway city at an additional variable cost, to be calculated individually by the student.
