Amalan LogoThe Internship: Amalan International Indonesia is seeking five students to contribute to android app development, iPhone app development, and marketing/public relations.

Number of Spots Available: 5

Duration: 10-12 weeks

Start Date: May 2018

The Organization: Amalan International Indonesia is a social enterprise that offers debt management programs to Indonesian consumers who can no longer afford making the payments on their loans.  Amalan advises on options to increase income and decrease expenses, and renegotiates on behalf of its clients the amount and terms of their bank loans.  They are the first to offer such a service in Indonesia using a professional, attentive, and customer-focused approach, supported by modern technology.  Amalan is the first company in Asia to be accredited by the IAPDA.

The Location: Jakarta is a vibrant metropolis and the heart of the Indonesian economy.  It is the gateway to the Indonesian archipelago for weekend trips to explore places like Bali, Yogyakarta, Lombok, or Singapore.  Amalan's team in Jakarta is a young team, mostly recent university graduates.  The team is 100% Indonesian, but everybody is fluent in English so that language will not be an issue at work.  Amalan's office is located in a new business district in the South Quarter Office Towers in the south of Jakarta, which is directly connected by a highway to the airport and is close to residential areas like Pondok Indah and Cilandak.
