The Organization: The OPEN Classroom is an English-based afterschool learning institution focused on equipping elementary, middle, and high school students with writing, public speaking, critical thinking, and leadership skills.  They also provide academic tutoring and leadership/mentoring programs tailored to student needs.

The Location: Hong Kong is an extremely vibrant city conveniently located close to a lot of other Southeast Asian countries and Chinese cities.  The OPEN Classroom's center is located on Hong Kong Island, which is close to the city center.  There are lots of interesting things to do, see, and eat in Hong Kong.  If you have never been to Asia, this will be a great place to start.  Past GIP interns have loved Hong Kong!
