This cost estimate was prepared on April 3, 2017 for the 2017-2018 academic year. These costs are subject to change.

BCGS charges a $1715 program fee. Within that program fee, there is a $500 nonrefundable deposit. If the student commits to the program, then decides not to enroll, they will be billed $500 by the University of Pennsylvania to cover the nonrefundable deposit. The remainder of the fee covers orientation housing, guest stay housing during the first 4 weeks of the program (which includes daily breakfast and one dinner a week), and a full year of German Health Insurance.

The flight is the estimated cost of a round trip ticket from Philadelphia to Berlin. Students may need to arrange for a connecting flight to Philadelphia. These are additional variable costs to be calculated individually by the student.

Exchange rate: $1 USD = 0.93 Euros in January 2017.
