Lodging: After the first 4 weeks, students are responsible for finding their own housing. They can opt to live in dorms, but need to decide this prior to departure. Otherwise, students find apartments throughout Berlin for a range of prices. Dorms are the cheapest option. The figure above reflects an estimated average for housing. This cost does not cover orientation accommodation or mandatory 4-week homestay; these fees are included in the Program Fee.

Personal Expenses: This estimate is meant to cover general expenses of college life, including additional course supplies, photocopying, toiletries, snacks, cell phone, etc. Personal expenses do not include any entertainment or vacation travel costs.

Additional Program Information: BCGS charges a $600 program fee. The program fee covers orientation housing and guest stay housing during the first 4 weeks of the program (which includes daily breakfast and one dinner a week). This will be due to Columbia.
