Lodging includes winter Ulpan and semester lodging costs.
Personal expenses include food, entertainment, transportation, telephone and other expenses. The amount you spend on daily necessities can vary widely, according to individual preferences and lifestyles. Hebrew U recommends budgeting $400–$600 per month for these items.
The flight expense listed above is the estimated cost of a round-trip flight from the gateway city of New York to Tel Aviv.
***Students may need to travel to a consulate to apply for and/or pick up a visa. Additionally, students living outside of the New York area may need to arrange for a connecting flight to a gateway city. These are additional variable costs, to be calculated individually by the student.
Students are required to pay an application fee of $80 for this program. Penn Abroad will credit the application fee to the student's Penn Student Account upon successful completion of the program.
