Lodging includes winter Ulpan and semester lodging costs. Semester lodging costs are based on a double room.
Personal expenses can vary widely, according to individual preferences and lifestyles. Haifa recommends budgeting $500 - $600 per month for food, independent travel, and incidental expenses.
The flight expense listed above is the estimated cost of a round-trip flight from the gateway city of New York to Tel Aviv.
***Students may need to travel to a consulate to apply for and/or pick up a visa. Additionally, students living outside of the New York area may need to arrange for a connecting flight to a gateway city. These are additional variable costs, to be calculated individually by the student.
Students are required to pay an application fee of $80 for this program. Penn Abroad will credit the application fee to the student's Penn Student Account upon successful completion of the program.
