The lodging charge applies to on-campus housing only.  Students living off-campus should plan on budgeting up to an additional $2100 USD. The actual amount should be based on the rental agreement and is to be calculated individually by the student. Generally, students living in off-campus housing should expect to pay between 15,000 RMB- 25,000 RMB for the semester.

The flight expense listed above is the estimated cost of a round trip ticket from the East Coast to Beijing.  Additionally, students may need to travel to a consulate to apply for and/or pick up a visa. These are additional variable costs, to be calculated individually by the student.Exchange rate:  $1.00 USD = 6.78 Chinese Yuan Renminbi (CNY) on November 8, 2016.
