Exchange Rate: USD $1 = 0.86 EUR (10/31/17)
Lodging: The average cost is about 400 EUR/month for a place in a double room and about 500 EUR/month for a place in a single room, plus extras (telephone, electricity, heating, gas).
Meals: Supplemental meals throughout the semester.
Personal Expenses: This estimate is meant to cover general expenses of college life, including additional course supplies, photocopying, toiletries, snacks, cell phone, etc. Personal expenses do not include any entertainment or vacation travel costs.
Local Transportation: Estimate per monthly metro/bus pass.
Books and Supplies: Estimate given by LUISS Guido Carli University.
Additional Program Information: Students are required to pay both a visa processing fee (approx. 50 EUR) through the appropriate Italian Consulate before departure and a fee (approx. 200 EUR) for the Permesso di Soggiorno (Residency Permit) once in Italy. Students are required to purchase Italian health insurance upon arrival in Italy (49 EUR).
