Lodging and Meals: Homestay which includes two meals per day (600 euros/month for 5 months)

Mandatory French Health Insurance and Responsibilite Civile:  215 euros.
Though students may be covered by the French national insurance, all students must also maintain their US coverage. 

Sports Fee: This is a mandatory fee for access to certain facilities and classes at Lyon 2.

Personal expenses include normal spending for cultural activities and essential daily needs.  This is an estimate and will vary based on individual spending habits. 

Visa fees include Campus France registration ($180) and visa application fee (approximately $56). Visa fees are subject to change; individuals should consult consulate websites for application fees.

The airfare price quoted above is based upon the average cost of a round-trip ticket from the gateway city of New York City to the program site. Students may depart from the city of their choice.
***Students living outside of a gateway city area may need to arrange for a connecting flight to a gateway city. These are additional variable costs, to be calculated individually by the student. 

***Additionally, students may need to travel to a consulate to apply for and/or pick up a visa. These are additional variable costs to be calculated individually by the student.
