Cost Estimate Preparation: This cost estimate was prepared on November 2, 2017 for the Spring 2018 semester. These costs are approximations and are subject to change.

Exchange Rate: USD $1 = 0.75 GBP (November 2, 2017)

Lodging: Students are responsible for finding their own housing. Architectural Association does not provide student housing. The estimate provided is for an en-suite accommodation via the University of London Housing Services and includes utilities. 

Meals: Estimate provided for self-catered accommodation.

Personal Expenses: This estimate is meant to cover general expenses of college life, including additional course supplies, photocopying, toiletries, snacks, cell phone, etc. Personal expenses do not include any entertainment or vacation travel costs.

Local Transportation: Estimate provided for Adult 7-day Oyster Card, Zones 1-2.

Books and Supplies: At least £50 will be needed for modeling supplies.

AA Unit Trip: Students are required to participate in the Spring Semester Programme trip to Madrid, Spain. Students are responsible for arranging their own flights and lodging while there. The above number includes estimates for travel, accommodation, and meals. Lodging estimate was provided from Air BnB.

Additional Program Information: Students who need to apply in advance for a student visitor visa or for a PBS Tier 4 visa will be charged a visa application fee. For students who enter as student visitors at the port of entry, there is no fee.
