An acceptance deposit of $250 is billed to Penn upon students' acceptance to the program. Penn pays this deposit directly to Sarah Lawrence College once a student has committed. If a student commits, then withdraws, he or she will be liable for this amount and will be charged on their Penn bill.
Health Insurance: Students may need to have coverage through the Sarah Lawrence plan to ensure they are covered before they leave the US and upon their return.
Local transportation estimate is based on a Zones 1-2 weekly Oyster Travelcard.
The airfare price quoted above is based upon the average cost of a round-trip ticket from the gateway city of Philadelphia to London. Students may depart from the city of their choice.
***Students living outside of a gateway city area may need to arrange for a connecting flight to a gateway city. These are additional variable costs, to be calculated individually by the student.
Students who need to apply in advance for a short-term study visa will be charged a visa application fee. For students who enter as student visitors at the port of entry, there is no fee.
Exchange rate: US$1 = 0.79 pounds (February 2017).
