Notes:

This cost estimate was created on June 1, 2015 for the fall 2015 semester. These costs are approximations and are subject to change.

Lodging is based on EUR 500 per month for five months. The cost of meals is based on EUR 200 per month for five months. Local transportation is based on EUR 20 per month for five months. In order to obtain the temporary residency permit and/or the entry visa, students will need to provide proof of financial solvency for the duration of the 5 month exchange at RSM.  Proof of financial solvency is defined as a minimum of 854.13 EUR per month for each month of your stay in Rotterdam. This amount, plus the 300 EUR visa fee, must be transferred to RSM; this amount, less the cost for the temporary residency permit and/or the entry visa, will be returned to students upon arrival (approximately $4,320.65 USD).

The flight expense listed above is the estimated cost of a round trip ticket from the East Coast to Amsterdam. Students may need to arrange for a connecting flight to a gateway city and/or arrange for transportation to Rotterdam from Amsterdam at an additional cost. These are additional variable costs to be calculated individually by the student.

Exchange rate: $1.00 USD= 0.91 EUR on June 1.
