Mandatory Health Insurance: AUC requires all international students have international health insurance. As an international student, you are automatically enrolled in AUC’s International Insurance Plan, which includes access to the AUC Clinic, emergency services, hospital care, and evacuation coverage. This is considered as supplemental health insurance.  Penn students are still required to maintain health coverage in one’s home country.

Roundtrip Flight from Gateway City: The flight expense listed above is the estimated cost of a round trip ticket from the gateway city of New York to Cairo.  However, you may depart from the city of your choice.
***Students living outside the gateway city may need to arrange for a connecting flight to a gateway city at an additional variable cost, to be calculated individually by the student.
