The lodging fee covers all accommodations during the entire program period. This includes lodging during orientation, homestays in New Delhi, on all excursions, during the Independent Study Project, and during the final evaluation period. Accommodation is covered either by SIT Study Abroad directly, through a stipend provided to each student, or through the homestay. Meals are covered either by SIT Study Abroad directly or through a stipend, or through the homestay for the entire program period. Personal expenses are estimated at USD 275 per month and include normal spending for cultural entertainment and essential daily needs.  The cost of the flight is based on a round trip ticket from the East Coast to New Delhi.  Students may need to arrange for a connecting flight to a gateway city at an additional variable cost, to be calculated individually by the student.  The cost of immunizations will vary from student to student and should also be calculated individually.
